Day 2 of the trial

No Q's for us but I was having fun and I blame dadster for making the mistake, never my fault always his, BOL. After the agility trial we stopped off at Grandma's house for Easter dinner. Boy was that fun playing with all the kids. Tempest even got some of the humans to throw dollar bills on the ground and she would pick them up and hand them to dad. The rule was that Tempest got to keep whatever they threw on the ground. I think we found a new living, make my sister works for our treat money, BOL

Here is my standard run. I messed up my weave poles.

Trial last weekend

We went to Zanesville again for another trial last weekend. It was just my turn this time. Tempest doesn't compete again until July.

Here is my standard run. I ran it really fast and got the most MACH points in one time that I think I ever go (14) and got a Q.

Here is my JWW run. This is one of mom's favorite videos. As most of you know I always find mom before I start my run and make sure she is watching me. Well this time if you watch real close after I do the jump all the way on the left hand side and run past mom I totally say hi to her. Even someone standing near mom said "She totally just cheesed you". BOL what can I say, I love my momster. So I got another Q on this run so that means our MACH watch is up to 12 QQ (need 20) and we are up over 300 points (need 750). YIPEE!

Disc Demo

A few weekends ago one of the local parks had a dog social. They always invite our disc dog club out to do a demo. Momster wasn't feeling well back then so she didn't get to go but dadster took Bokeh and Tempest. Dadster's mom came out and got some great shots of us. (Photo credit to Vickie Barnhill Photography).

Wagon

Yep...we got a new wagon! Tempest was the first to jump in and Bokeh wanted to see what all the fun was about. I on the other hand was terrified of it as I am of anything that rolls and makes weird noises.

Chewy Again

We have a second Chewy review again this month because momster wasn't feeling well last month and we missed doing it last month. So the second review we are doing is for Nutri Source Soft Treats. This is what they look like when they arrive

 photo EJWB_2813_zps02ad9383.jpg

and this is to show you the size of the treats

 photo EJWB_2816_zpsfc947b67.jpg

We always have to take turns getting our treats. Starr always goes first since she is the oldest of our pack. Starr always drools in anticipation of getting the treat, BOL

 photo EJWB_2831_zps1690b494.jpg

Then it is my turn. I am very gentle taking treats and like to savor my food

 photo EJWB_2826_zpscda216db.jpg

Then Bokeh

 photo EJWB_2817_zpsf697e2b2.jpg

and last but not least is Tempest

 photo EJWB_2820_zpsf0c62850.jpg

These are all the little details about what they are made up of, etc. We don't care about that (mom and dad do) all we care about is how they taste and they were YUMMY in our TUMMIES

 photo EJWB_2815_zps1fa9f88d.jpg

We liked these treats as well. Maybe we are bad at reviewing because we LOVE all the treats we have tested so far, BOL. But these are also soft and easy for the parents to use when training us and also a nice size. They might even work in our Wobbler, mom is going to try them and see.

Oh...one last thing. Louisville Weimaraner Rescue will receive a $20 donation for any NEW customers at Chewy.com making their first purchase if they just use this LINK HERE

In exchange for our review we did receive a free bag of treats to try

Chewy time!

It is time for our monthly Chewy.Com review. This month we decided to review the Natural Balance Belly Bites. Don't you just love the name?

This is what they look like when they arrive

 photo E101_0874_zps11b7298c.jpg

and this is to show you the size of the treats

 photo E101_0875_zps6db27df7.jpg

We always have to take turns getting our treats. Starr always goes first since she is the oldest of our pack. Mom messed up taking this picture and got a NOSE shot, BOL

 photo E101_0876_zps170953fb.jpg

Then it is my turn

 photo E101_0877_zpsb64438a0.jpg

Then Bokeh (he inhales his food)

 photo E101_0878_zps8c3e3cb6.jpg

and last but not least is Tempest

 photo E101_0880_zps927b49f6.jpg

Yep, we all agree (that doesn't happen very often) that these treats are YUMMY! Mom likes the fact that they are grain free and can be used on all breeds of dogs and puppies. The flavor we tested was Duck and Lugume. They are made of Duck, Peas and Garhanzo beans (never heard of those before). The official ingredient list is: Duck, Peas, Vegetable glycerin, garbanzo beans, cane molasses, gelatin, chicken fat, natural flavor and dried cultured skim milk. We have a friend (Hi Jura!) that is allergic to Rosemary so I think he would be able to eat these treats as well.

We like the fact that the product has a 100% satisfaction guarantee on them. They are made here in the USA. They are soft so we can use them when we are in training or small enough to go in the cookie jar as well. We liked them and would purchase them again in the future. Oh...one last thing. Day 3 of the trial

This was the third day of the trial. Mom and dad wasn't sure if I would run or not because I usually get tired. But after my acupuncture I have been feeling better and able to run better.

Here is my standard run, I got a Q and 10 MACH points.

Here is my Jumpers run. Didn't get a Q this run. Something caught my attention in the weaves and I messed them up.

Day 2 of the Trial

Day 2 of the trial was much better. I got another QQ! WHOO HOO! I am not up to 11 QQ (need 20 to MACH) and got some more MACH points too.

and here is my Jumpers run

Saturday, April 19, 2014

Day 1 of the trial

Here is my standard run. I didn't get a Q this run because I missed my down contact on the dog walk. I never do this so mom had to ask someone what I did wrong, BOL.

Here is my Jumper run. Didn't Q because I think dad was drunk and sent me off course (around the jump) oops!

Tempest Day 3

Last day of the trial when everyone is getting tired. Tempest was getting better and better as each day passed. Still no Q but super proud of her. Maybe next trial she can get the Q if not we are okay with that, still having fun!

No Q because she went off course two times but this was probably her best run of the weekend. Baby dog is growing up on us.

Tempest Day 2 at the trial

Here is her Jumpers run from her second day at the trial. She was having fun going in and out of the tunnel. She dropped a bar, oops! But she had a great time even though no Q this run.

and here is her standard run. No Q because she dropped a bar but again she is having a great time doing this.

Tempest first agility trial

Our training club hosted their spring agility trial. Tempest is still in training and very much a baby dog and very green but mom and dad decided to see how she would do at the trial. Tempest is VERY fast and still overly confident in herself right now. Dad is working on his timing with her but having a lot of fun running with her in agility. Here is Tempie's very first ever agility trial run. She didn't get a Q because she had three refusals but she did so good in our minds.

Here is her standard run from Friday's trial as well. She didn't get a Q in this one because she didn't do her weave poles. You have three chances to do them correctly and she didn't so she didn't Q but she has AWESOME contacts and start line stays all day.

MACH MICKEY!

So if you follow along you often hear me update how I am on my MACH status. MACH is a championship title in agility. I am only about 1/2 way there. You need 20 double Q's (meaning you qualified in both your Jumpers and Standard runs on the same day) and 750 MACH points. Our friend Mickey earned his SECOND MACH at our trial. So proud of him and his mom Carolyn. (We love Carolyn lots because she makes us tuna brownies and sneaks them to us when mom and dad are not looking). Here is video of Mickey's MACH run. WHOO HOO! Can't wait for my turn to do this with dadster. Dad is SO going to cry.

Chewy!

OMD....we are speechless. As most of you know mom was very sick with blood clots in her leg and in her lungs and has been in and out of the hospital. She has been on the road to recovery and feeling better each day. We normally do a review each month for Chewy.com and momster wrote to them to explain why we didn't get the review up last month and to apologize. A few days later the doorbell rang and a delivery guy handed mom these flowers. The card was from Chewy. Mom was speechless. What kind of company is this caring? Chewy is! We already loved Chewy and now we love them even more. I sure hope more people support a company who is so kind and caring. Mom has been telling everyone about this.

Sunny Saturday

It has been so beautiful out here lately. Starr and I LOVE to sun bathe. Momster spoiled us and moved our dog bed into the sun spot for us to be nice and comfy, warm and cozy. You can see all of our nose art on the sliding glass door to, BOL.

Fun on Friday

We love doing agility at our house. Tempest has really been working on her weave pole training. She is going SO fast that the PVC weaves we have were not able to hold up to her speed so the parents ordered us some new weave poles.

Look at Tempest go

and with forward and back motion

Tempest has her very first trial this weekend. We can't wait to see how she does, BOL.

Tempest Tuesday

Okay, we are back. Sorry momster hasn't been feeling well but she is starting to feel better each day.

Tempie here! A few weekends ago we went to help this program called Agility Ability. It is a program for autistic and special needs children. The program allows them to work with agility dogs. It helps with their vocal commands, using their muscles to keep up with the dogs and just having fun while learning to work with the dogs. The kids and dogs form special bonds and it is just an amazing program. They invited us out to do a disc demo and we of course said YES right away.

Here is a video of dadster doing his speech and me showing some of my moves.

and here we are letting some of the kids throw the disc to me

We loving helping out people when we can and we support this program
