Training Club Picnic

This past Sunday the training club we belong to had their annual picnic. Was a nice time to just hang out with other dog owners. They were letting us do agility run throughs, rally, etc.

One of the people made homemade frozen treats for the dogs. Here is Sagira enjoying hers.

Junior is funny. He went into the wrong crate that was WAY too small for him. Good thing is has an opening on the top.

What a busy weekend

Wow...where did the time go? Yesterday we were invited to Granger's 2nd birthday party. It was kind of rainy and the people showing up were so funny. One said "I've completely lost my mind going to a DOG birthday party in the rain". We all laughed, it was pretty funny.

Happy Birthday Granger!

Picnic With the Pups

This past Saturday was a fund raising event for CHA Shelter. It was called Picnic With The Pups and was a really nice event until we got rained out. But they had music, a beer wagon, free goodies, vendors, rescue groups and our training club was there doing agility and obedience demos. Sagira got to do both her agility and obedience demos and did pretty well considering she was in a new place with new sites and smells.

The handler leaves and the crowd makes cat noises, claps, whistles, etc. to try to make the dogs break their stay. Sagira always does well during this part of the demo.

Then we move over to the fun stuff, agility!

Sagira met her siblings

Yesterday was the day I have been waiting for since we adopted Sagira. We reunited three of the four pups from her litter back together. We met at Pooch Playground and they had a lot of fun. Sagira seemed to spend most of her time with her brother Fynn. Sagira was such a good mix between the two. Sagira has the body type and activity level of her sister Machen but has the coloring and bark of her brother Fynn. They were all so cute together.

Here is a video of when Sagira and Fynn ganged up on a four month old Border Collie puppy.

Here is a video of the three of them.

Can't wait until 7:00 tomorrow. We are meeting up with Sagira's real brother and sister and their new families. I have been wanting to see them ever since I adopted Sagira so I am super excited about this.

Sagira is resting up getting ready for her playdate tomorrow...

Scarlet's Birthday Party

We were so excited. We got invited to our first ever dog birthday party. Scarlet turned 5 and invited us out to Pooch Playground for her party. Michele did a great job putting it together and had pop and snacks for the humans. She also had flavored ice cubes for the dogs, they had their choice of beef or chicken. She also made the dogs cupcakes and played a game to see which dog would eat the most items on the list. We had items like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, kiwi, squash, green beans, and the list goes on. Starr was nervous so I didn't put her down to eat a whole lot. However, if we would have been at home she would have eaten them all probably. Sagira was having fun picking up every ones carrots that they spit out. Michele also had Frosty Paws for the dogs as well. It was a good time and a lot of fun.

Sabine was all dressed up and ready to party...
